Not a gold-spam line — this is the upgrade path.
Level 1: upgrade to 2 pyros (level 1)
Level 2: 1 destroyer + 1 pyro (level 2)
Level 3: 2 destroyers (level 3). If the enemy has not sent, definitely add something.
Level 4: 2 destroyers still fine if they have not sent
Level 5: pyros start falling off. They are not great tanks and not great DPS — middle ground. You usually do not like them past this level, but they work OK. Overvalue a bit if you are scared of sends.
Past this point: learn it yourself.
Advantages
- +Clear pyro → destroyer upgrade line through 4
Disadvantages
- −Pyros fall off as tanks and as DPS after 5
- −If they have not sent by 3, you should add something else
